Trippi
I received a call from Sue Hempfling of Little Dogs Big Hearts Rescue in OK. There at the shelter was a little Wheaten guy who needed our help. Sue got him on a transport and I drove to Waco to meet them. Little Trippi (as we named him) was matted to the bone, but was a happy camper. He went straight to my grooming table and doggy wash tub. What appeared was a cute little guy with a “funky” ear which gave him character!!
When I took him to the vet, he had hook and whip worms along with erlichia, so a round of doxycycline was in order along with de-worming meds after his tummy felt better. After about two weeks, Mr. Trippi was ship shape and I started looking at applications that we had on file. He had two people “stand him up” and my girl, Bridgee, was about to whelp a litter of puppies, so Mr. Trippi went to Houston to another WIN foster home with two great “human” boys and a Wheaten names, Sully . After a couple more weeks there, an applicant from Dallas, Sarah Miller, came to get Trippi and took him to his “forever” home. I think Trippi decided that he had enough traveling for a while!!
